Kids Diana Show: 100M+ Subscribers Through Multilingual Localization

One of the biggest names in the YouTube Kids world, Kids Diana Show, has become a sensation for young audiences globally. This multilingual channel features Diana and her brothers, Roma, Oliver, and Adam, who play with toys and go on adventures every day. Currently, her channel is one of the few that have reached and surpassed the mark of 100 million subscribers (currently, they’re almost at 140M subscribers). By partnering up with AIR Media-Tech, this channel went from 0 to over 100 million subscribers in 7 years.

Since the family has always been open to the new, in 2018, AIR offered to translate and localize its content into other languages. After all, we had a firm belief that children all over the world would want to watch their videos. They gave it a try, and it paid off - the decision to translate and localize content into different languages has played a massive role in their explosive growth, helping them to almost double (and even triple) their audience. Diana now speaks several popular languages, such as Spanish, Arabic, Hindi, Portuguese, Korean, Vietnamese, Indonesian, and Japanese, among other languages.

Results were astonishing, in fact, since now Kids Diana Show channels have gained millions of worldwide subscribers and 100+ billion views.

Do you think they’ve stopped there? Not even! Besides the translated and localized content, Kids Diana Show also started sharing their content on Facebook with the help of AIR Distribution. That has also brought over 35 million users within a year.

Among the hardships that every kids' channel faces, there’s one related to security on YouTube and frequent changes to the algorithms. Among the advanced AIR Media-Tech services is one that is particularly relevant for children's creators - protection from pirated content. With this service, we’ve been able to identify many unauthorized reuploads of the Kids Diana Show content. This is the common challenge of every successful creator - the more popular the author becomes, the more their content is prone to unauthorized reuploads, which may negatively affect creators’ earnings.

Vania Mania: How Three Channels Led the Way to Greatness

Another big Kids’ channel, Vania Mania Kids. They specialize in creating engaging kids' content, which includes roleplay, educational videos, music, and so much more. With over 31M subscribers, their content was working already, but they wanted more.

So, in July of 2022, we helped them launch three more fully localized channels in Spanish (1.6M), German (1.4M), and Polish (600K+). As you can see, that alone brought in more than 3M global audience and quite a bit more international views

Additionally, they have auto-dubbing enabled in order to see other potential language markets they could expand to.

Results speak for themselves! This is the localization strategy that works.

MrBeast: How Multilingual Channels Added Millions of Subscribers

MrBeast has quite the reputation in the YouTube world. As one of the most popular YouTubers, he is most well-known for extravagant challenges and stunts, which attracted the attention of over 800 million subscribers across various localized channels. His main channel has 471M subscribers and counting, which makes him the most subscribed YouTuber on the platform.

As of 2026, Mr. Beast’s channel has 114 billion views on his main channel alone. Starting in 2021, he started launching new fully localized YouTube channels. So far, there are 16: Arabic, Chinese, Czech, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, Romanian, Russian (stopped uploading in March of 2022), Latin Spanish, Thai, Turkish, and Vietnamese

The main channel itself now has dubs available (some of them are AI-generated, while others have human voice acting).

His strategy is an interesting one. It relies on wowing the audience with content that could be equally enjoyed from every part of the world because of its universal appeal. Therefore, going global worked out well enough for him.

Brave Wilderness: Global Wildlife Channel With Multi-Language Content

Brave Wilderness, known for its daring and educational wildlife content, has gained over 21 million subscribers and scored some major wins, including a Guinness World Records for the most subscribed animal-dedicated YouTube channel. Hosted by Coyote Peterson, this multi-language channel takes viewers on thrilling adventures in the wild, exploring the animal kingdom up close.

To expand globally and reach even more wildlife enthusiasts around the world, the Brave Wilderness channel has decided to team up with professionals at AIR Media-Tech to translate and localize its content. Now, Brave Wilderness “speaks” in Bulgarian, French, German, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish, and Ukrainian

All of the localized channels added around 100k+ more global subscribers who now enjoy his content.

AIR Media-Tech is recognized by YouTube as a recommended vendor for content translation and localization. We've helped our partners gain tens of millions of subscribers worldwide. To learn more and find the best translation strategy for your content, get in touch with us.

Lady Diana: Fully Localized Channels that Added 7.6 Billion Global Views

Yet another popular kids’ channel, Lady Diana. Their specialization lies in creating content for pre-teens and older kids with engaging roleplay, narrative, and story-driven posts. 52 channels, 14.5M subscribers, and over 7.6 billion global views. Those numbers are insane, aren’t they?

With a giant team by their side, why not turn your content into a revenue machine? So, Lady Diana started “speaking” in 52 languages, the most popular of which turned out to be: Hindi (3.4M), Arabic (3.1M), Portuguese (1.2M), Serbian (1M), French (896K), and Indonesian (745K).

All of this effort and localization has added a significant number of additional subscribers who now enjoy Lady Diana’s content globally. Additionally, it added 7.6 billion global views.

Pewdiepie: Subtitles Strategy To Stay Relevant In Non-English Markets

PewDiePie is a legendary name in YouTube history for the reason that he was among the first YouTubers to receive a diamond button reward and the first YouTuber to get a red diamond custom button. While in the past, his main niche was gaming, nowadays, he posts discussions, vlogs, or generally talks about things he enjoys in retirement.

We have talked about his journey on YouTube and how he achieved 110M+ subscribers. Although PewDiePie is primarily known for his English-speaking content, he also embraced the multilingual trend by having his videos subbed in other languages. At the peak of his career, he had his videos subbed in 37 languages, a strategy taken by many channels.

His current videos have auto-translation and auto-dubbing in 13 languages enabled. This laid-back global strategy has helped him maintain his massive following and remain relevant in markets where English isn’t the primary language.

Even now, after he retired, PewDiePie remains one of the most recognizable figures in the YouTube world. He truly cares about his subscribers and tries his best for everyone to feel loved and appreciated.

Even adding subtitles will impact your channel’s growth.

TED: Subtitles In 40+ Languages For Global Idea Sharing

TED is a world-renowned speaking channel that spreads different ideas on topics ranging from science to art, business, and global issues. Their channel is built on a simple structure: talking. Different people are speaking on the subjects they know about.

The core of their content is in English. But that’s not why they gained over 27M subscribers. Their strategy is simple, yet genius: it’s in subtitles. Their most popular videos have their work subbed in 45+ languages. The more recent videos usually range from 10 to 30 languages in their subtitles. Most often, those are all done by hand.

As a result, this multilingual approach helps TED reach an incredibly diverse audience and reinforces the idea that knowledge should be available to everyone, regardless of language barriers.

National Geographic: Multilingual Documentaries For Worldwide Reach

Now, let’s move on to yet another giant global multilingual educational channel - National Geographic. They specialize in documentaries, travel vlogs, exploration, and generally the content that evokes curiosity in all. The company itself has several separate specialized channels about animals, people, geographical locations, historical events, etc.

As of early 2026, National Geographic has 800 million followers across the platforms and all of its localized content, with 26M subscribers just on their main YouTube channel alone. Their content is split into four main regions: Asia & Oceania, Middle East & Africa, Europe, and the Americas. Each region features localized feeds with fully translated videos. National Geographic’s content is broadcast in 45 languages, and Nat Geo France alone has almost 2M subscribers. On their main channel, some of their videos offer subtitles in at least 20 languages.

Their multilingual strategy allows them to tap into markets where English isn’t the primary language, expanding their reach to millions who are passionate about learning and exploration.

AIR Media-Tech can help you increase the audience for your content. Our partners recently reached 125 billion YouTube views, achieving milestones of 100K, 1M, 10M, and 100M subscribers. Whindersson Nunes: Bilingual Content For Latin America

We’ve talked a lot about channels that had specific full localizations done for them or had subtitles as their main global strategy. However, if you are a bilingual content creator, why not use it? Whindersson Nunes does exactly that. His niche is comedy, and he’s known for doing sketches, talking about his life, making reactions on YouTube, etc.

His primary language is Portuguese. But he makes an effort to make some videos in English, and sometimes even Spanish. That had earned him 44M+ subscribers on his main channel. His strategy is an unconventional one, because all different language content is uploaded on 1 channel for everyone to enjoy. So, if you scroll through his videos and randomly see an English one in the sea of Portuguese and Spanish, don’t be surprised or confused.

In doing so, he extends his reach far beyond Portugal or Brazil, but he appeals to the broader Latin American community. His ability to shift between languages allows him to connect with fans across linguistic boundaries, which has made him one of the most successful multilingual creators on the platform.

So, if you’re bilingual as well, use it to your advantage!

Nas Daily: Multi-Language Short Videos With Global Community

Let’s switch to more travel content. Another niche that’s appealing globally. Nas Daily is a multi-language content creator who travels the world and creates videos about people, cultures, and unique places in a vlog style. While he does make longer videos (up to 12 minutes) sometimes, he is most known for his short-form content.

He has made 3 fully localized channels: Arabic, Spanish, and Russian. Overall, his channels have around 17M subscribers overall (14M just on his main channel). These localizations are made with professional dubbing. His main channel doesn’t use any subtitles, however.

A seemingly simple change like that gave him almost 3M new subscribers and global recognition. And those results are great!

Kurzgesagt: Educational Animations Dubbed In Multiple Languages

Kurzgesagt is a YouTube channel focused on explaining complex topics through fun animations. Their content is educational and has an entire dedicated team behind it.

What is their multi-lingual strategy? It’s an interesting one. With over 25M subscribers on their main channel, every video has subtitles in at least 35 languages available. But that’s not all. Kurzgesagt has several separate, dedicated localized channels: German (2.5M), Spanish (2.2M), French (300K+), Hindi (50K+), Portuguese (800K+), Japanese (130K+), Korean (737K+), and Arabic (75K+).

With this multilingual approach, they have managed to amass a considerable following worldwide. They had been able to educate millions of viewers on science, philosophy, and other subjects, which deservedly made them one of the most popular educational channels on YouTube.

The most popular YouTubers use a multilingual approach to expand their audience.

How These Channels Manage Multilingual Content?

If you look at those giants, it seems like there are only two paths: jam everything into Multi-Language Audio (MLA) or split your brand into a dozen separate channels.

After digging through the guts of 400+ channels, we found the real gold is in a hybrid "Third Way." It’s the difference between a 5% bump and a 45% increase in views across the board.

The "Third Way" Strategy

Most creators launch a localized channel and, if it doesn’t take off instantly, they kill the project. That’s a mistake. We use the high-performing channels to carry the weight of the testing ones.

Take Vania Mania Kids. We built separate Spanish, German, and Polish channels. They exploded, with 19 million monthly views in Germany alone. But when we tried a standalone Portuguese channel? Dead on arrival. Zero traction.

Instead of walking away, we pivoted. We took those Portuguese dubs and "cross-seeded" them. We dropped the Portuguese audio tracks into the already successful Spanish and German channels.

The result: 5 million extra views in six months.

The 3-5-7 "Stress Test"

You don't need a Hollywood budget to see if this works. We recommend a simple test:

  1. Select 3–5 of your top-performing videos.
  2. Translate them into 5–7 target languages.
  3. Localize the metadata (titles and descriptions) immediately.

For visual-heavy or music channels, metadata alone is a game-changer. Take Cozy Relaxing Jazz, for example. We just used our AI tools to translate their metadata into 8 languages. The result was +195% views.

Once the analytics show you which markets are biting, that’s when you go all-in, either via MLA tracks or by letting us build you a separate, dedicated channel.

At AIR Media-Tech, we’ve built the blueprint for global scale with creators like Alan’s Universe, Mat Armstrong, and Lady Diana. We’ve done the heavy lifting across 400+ channels. Let’s repeat that success with yours.

Choosing the Right Dubbing Method in 2026

In 2026, the YouTube algorithm is basically a retention detective. If your audio sounds like a robot reading a grocery list, the algorithm kills your reach. You can’t cheat the system with cheap tools anymore.

Here are your options in 2026.

Method

Best For...

The Reality Check

YouTube Auto-Dubbing

Fast & Dirty Testing

Great for data, but the quality can be hit-or-miss.

AI Dubbing

Bottom-Tier Scaling

It’s cheap, but it’s a trap for kids' content. We’ve seen 4-5x drops in view duration compared to humans. Robots don't have "vibes" yet.

Professional Dubbing

Actual Growth

This is the gold standard. Human actors bring the emotion and cultural nuance that keep a viewer watching until the end.

Multilingual content is rapidly becoming a powerful strategy for YouTube creators looking to expand their reach and engage new audiences across the globe.

Embracing translation and localization became the norm, and this trend doesn’t seem to be showing any signs of change in 2026. If you’re a creator looking to tap into new markets, it’s time to think beyond borders and give your channel the multilingual treatment it deserves. And if you struggle with where to start and if you are overwhelmed by the options, AIR Media-Tech is always here to help! Just reach out to us, and we will do all the hard work for you!
