AIR Media-Tech Is Now Placing Creators on Tubi
Table of contents

AIR Media-Tech has started distributing creator content to Tubi, Fox's free streaming service. The first channel through that pipeline is Amelka Karamelka Dark Stories, whose opening seasons are already live on the platform, with new episodes rolling out over the coming weeks. More creators are already in the pipeline behind it.

Who Amelka Karamelka Is

Amelka Karamelka Dark Stories runs on a simple premise of unsettling things happening to Amelka in her own house, and she tells you about them. The channel has built 194K subscribers and 240 videos around that format, blending kids' storytelling with a horror edge.

It's a spinoff of a bigger name. The main Amelka Karamelka channel has 5.7M subscribers, and AIR has worked with the creator since 2022 on international expansion. That partnership grew the channel into 18 localized versions across languages including Hungarian, Polish, French, Greek, and Georgian, adding more than 1 million subscribers and 436 million views in a single year.

Tubi is the next platform in that expansion, and this time it's TV screens, not translated channels, doing the work.

What Tubi Is

Tubi is Fox Corporation's free, ad-supported streaming service, acquired in 2020. No subscription, no login wall. Viewers open the app, watch, and sit through ads instead of paying. The library runs to roughly 300,000 movies and TV episodes, alongside hundreds of Tubi Originals.

The platform's growth over the past year gives some sense of why so many creators want in:

Tubi's audience skews young and skipped cable entirely, which is close to the audience most YouTube channels already have.

Rights, formatting, and packaging for streaming platforms differ from those for YouTube uploads. AIR already handles this end-to-end for creators headed to Tubi. → See if your channel fits.

Tubi Is Building a Pipeline Straight From Creators

Tubi didn't back into creator content. It hired for it. In August 2025, the company brought on Kudzi Chikumbu, TikTok's former global head of creator marketing, as VP of Creator Partnerships. Under that push, Tubi added creator names most YouTube audiences already recognize:

  • MrBeast — seasons 6 through 8 of his main YouTube channel
  • Alan's Universe (Alan Chikin Chow, 95M+ subscribers)
  • Jomboy Media, backed by MLB for its baseball shows
  • CelinaSpookyBoo, developing an original series for the platform
  • Kevin Hart's Hartbeat, signed for a four-film slate starting with the horror-thriller "Sundown"

In the ten months leading up to March 2026, Tubi added more than 16,000 episodes from over 200 creators. Then came the bigger move: in March 2026, Tubi and TikTok launched the Creatorverse Incubator, a joint program where TikTok identifies creators ready to go long-form, Tubi develops the series with them, and TikTok's Spotlight feature promotes the results. The first cohort is due this summer.

There's already proof the format works. Kelon Campbell built "Terri Joe," a satirical Southern belle character, on TikTok Live. His movie "Terri Joe: Missionary in Miami" premiered on Tubi in January 2026 and debuted at No. 8 on Variety's Streaming Original Movies Chart.

Tubi's own research explains the bet. In its Harris Poll-backed Stream 2026 report, 67% of respondents said digital creators feel more original than traditional TV and film, and 76% said they want more programming from independent and smaller creators, up 12 points year over year.

What Tubi Wants From Creators

Tubi doesn't work like a self-serve upload tool. There's no application form, no subscriber-count cutoff published anywhere. Creators get on through licensing deals, the Tubi for Creators program, or now the Creatorverse Incubator, and the bar is about content fit more than channel size.

What Tubi is looking for:

  • Series potential. Content needs to hold together as episodes or a season, not a single video repurposed for TV.
  • A screen-ready format. Longer runtimes, visual pacing built for a living room, and none of the YouTube-native references (community tab call-outs, Shorts funnels, card links) that don't translate to a TV remote.
  • Cleared rights across the board. Music, footage, and any third-party material need to be licensed for broadcast-style distribution, not just YouTube's Content ID system.
  • A story that survives the format. Tubi has already seen the opposite: reviewers noted that Terri Joe's two-minute TikTok bits didn't stretch painlessly to 80 minutes. What works in short form doesn't automatically hold up as a feature.

How AIR Gets Creators Onto Tubi

Amelka Karamelka Dark Stories is the first channel AIR has placed on Tubi through AIR's official partnership with the platform, and more creators are already headed there next. As an official partner, AIR negotiates the deal and preps your catalog for Tubi.
