22 Steps to Grow from $500 to $10,000 on YouTube.pdf

What do you do when the kids’ content you produce is already of good quality, but your channel isn’t growing at the speed it's supposed to? What’s next? What do you do? This was the case for our partner, Emir Ela, a Kids channel with a recognizable style, a loyal audience, and great videos overall. In this case study, we will take a detailed look at what they did to achieve amazing results: +2773% views growth, +3283% revenue growth over three months!

What We Did: Recommendations and Implementation

Trends! Everyone loves them, and everyone tries to implement them into their content. But doing so without knowing how is a sure way to reduce that trend’s effectiveness.

We recommended introducing the trends slowly and intentionally into their content, which was a definite success.

Kids Content Quality Recommendations

Let us be clear, Emir Ela’s content was high-quality from the beginning. But there’s always something to improve, even if you’re at the top of YouTube’s mountain. A major part of our work was focusing on how to improve little things that bring a big impact.

What we focused on:

  • Visual clarity for young viewers. Simplistic, but colorful visuals draw attention.
  • Pacing. It’s important, especially when you’re a Kids & Teens creator.
  • Sound design and audio quality.
  • Educational and entertainment balance to improve watch time and repeat views.
  • Thumbnails. Little changes go a long way.

These tweaks aligned with the best practices from our previous kids-content cases. And they proved their major effectiveness!

Alina Kalyna, Emir Ela’s Channel Growth Expert at AIR

"Managing hundreds of kids' channels gives us a unique vantage point. We see the invisible shifts in the YouTube ecosystem before they become common knowledge. Beyond the written rules, there’s a 'pulse' in the analytics that tells you when a high-quality video is missing that one tiny spark to make it a global hit. For Emir Ela, it was about decoding those patterns to ensure their quality matched the platform’s velocity."

Publishing Strategy and Competition

Usually, the most effective way to improve your channel is to look at your competition and see what they are doing. Should you do the exact same thing 1-for-1? Of course not! When you’re on YouTube, it’s essential to be able to analyze your competition, see what works for them, and see which formats and themes could work for your channel.

With the Emir Ela team, we did exactly that.

We have also helped our partner to structure their publishing system that balances:

  • YouTube Shorts (for quick discovery and views)
  • Long-form videos
  • Streams for community and longer session time

The creators implemented the strategy with impressive discipline, which directly influenced the growth curves.

The Results (October-December 2025)

Overall channel growth was astonishing. In less than 3 months, the views had grown to +2773%:

  • Views (Jul-Sep 2025): 16,545,638
  • Views (Oct-Dec 2025): 475,225,157
  • Increase: +458,679,519 views

But the real question and the thing most creators are interested in is the revenue growth. So, how much did they grow during that period?

  • Revenue growth: +3283%

Well, their content only gotten the attention it deserved! And it can only grow from there.

The Results by Content Format

Now, let’s zoom in and look at the individual results per content format. Starting with Shorts!

  • Views growth: +2766.8%
  • Revenue growth: +3561.5%

Long-form has gotten even more impressive results:

  • Views growth: +16,543.8%
  • Revenue growth: +5227.7%

And, finally, let’s take a look at the streams:

  • Views growth: +854.2%
  • Revenue growth: +827.4%

We love to see creators and their channels get the recognition and results their content rightfully deserves.

The creators were already strong. The strategy helped them scale that strength.

For kids' channels, growth comes when formats, quality, and systematic diverse publishing come together. When those elements align, it’s almost like magic.

And we can make that magic happen!
