How do you grow when you already have over 3M subscribers? What direction do you move? For one kids channel, the direction was among the burning questions they needed to find answers for, and they did, finding +26.8% of growth in total views and a 15.6% revenue increase in just three months!
The Challenge: Growth for a Large Kids Channel
What happens after you reach success? Which direction do you move, and how do you improve when you already have a big audience? Well, our partner, a large kids’ channel, came to us with a similar question. They have already had a great audience, high-quality videos, and great ideas for the future overall, but they wondered what else could be done to accelerate their growth.
Our task was more than clear, and here’s what we recommended our partners to do:
Our Recommendations for Growth
So, after reviewing the channel and after a thorough audit of their metrics, we decided to give them a few main recommendations and lend a helping hand in some areas.
Channel Moderation and Duplicate Content Risk Reduction
Our partner had great content that was clearly a fan-favorite. But there was a risk hidden in their videos. You know how some creators upload two versions of a music video (regular/acoustic)? They did the very same thing. Where’s the risk, you might ask? Well, if you upload both videos with the same visuals, you might be at risk of duplicate claims by YouTube algorithms, which might result in one of those videos having way less exposure.
And that’s not good for the channel. So, we moderated the channel and recommended:
- Creating distinct visuals for each version
- Avoiding identical video sequences to reduce duplication risks
The partner implemented these changes, making each upload unique and safer for monetization and distribution.
Compilation Strategy
After reviewing our partner’s channel, we noted that most videos on the channel were 2-3 minutes long. It’s great for recognition, but the perfect length, at least according to the algorithm, is around the 10-minute mark.
There wasn’t a need to make completely new videos to push that mark, so our second recommendation was to create compilations! That way, our partner could increase session watch time, improve monetization, and strengthen their algorithmic distribution.
Our partner quickly adopted that format, and because of their efforts, the compilations delivered results:
- Higher watch duration
- Higher CPM and significantly higher RPM
The boost with compilations came fast:
- +19% higher watch duration
- +9% higher CPM
- +72% higher RPM

Shorts Launch
Recommendation number three is the most important one for reach: Shorts. Following our recommendations, our partner began publishing them, several per day.
Shorts are a great tool for discovery, and for them, it became just that, offering a 300% growth in Shorts activity and reach.
Kids Content Quality Recommendations
Now, content quality. This one was a bit trickier, due to the fact that they already had great content. But we did manage to provide some recommendations on how to become even better, including:
- Visual pacing and clarity
- Structure optimized for young audiences
- Engagement elements for retention
These improvements contributed to stronger watch duration and overall performance.
The Results
Overall channel growth was looking great. In less than 3 months, the views had grown to +27%:
- Views (Jul–Sep 2025): 355,069,261
- Views (Oct–Dec 2025): 450,250,436
- Increase: +95,181,175 views

But the real question and the thing most creators are interested in is the revenue growth. So, how much did they grow during that period?
- Revenue growth: +15.6%
This goes to say that their content had only gotten the attention it deserved. And it would only grow from there!
Creator-Led Execution
What brought about this success? The fact that our partner’s team was highly proactive and open to feedback, and the fact that they were quick to implement the changes. They adapted formats, launched compilations and Shorts, and improved content quality. Our role was to provide guidance.
This case goes to show that even million-subscriber channels that have it all can strike major growth opportunities by implementing small strategic shifts.
