VidSummit is keeping its focus tight in 2025: it’s all about the YouTube creator business. How to pull in investors. How to get beyond AdSense. How to negotiate contracts. How to turn a channel into a sustainable business.
No screaming fans, no expo carnival, no cosplay. Just creators, investors, agencies, and platforms trying to figure out how to make creators thrive.
When & Where Is VidSummit 2025?
VidSummit 2025 will take place in Dallas, Texas, October 7–9, 2025.
- Location: Irving Convention Center, Dallas, Texas
- Registration: Opens Monday, October 6
- Tickets are live now, and seats are filling fast.
It’s a three-day event, plus a registration day (you’ll pick up your badge, some swag, and usually have time to meet a few people even before it officially starts).
VidSummit keeps its spotlight on strategy, monetization, and networking: the things that turn channels into businesses.
But it’s not all note-taking. Day 1 kicks off with a Welcome Party, and the finale rolls straight into an After Party at Rayleigh Underground. Big-room energy comes from keynotes, and there are dozens of hands-on workshops (Shorts myths, legal redlines, turnaround stories, storytelling labs) so you can learn something and test it the same day.
New This Year
VidSummit closes with Theorist/Lunar X’s Creators in Fashion CIF. It’s a live + virtual spectacle of style, entertainment, and creators. CIF is the biggest cross-media creator fashion event yet, where runway meets digital culture.
Happening October 9 at 7:00 p.m. CT on VidSummit’s mainstage in Dallas
The play is simple: watch → want → buy in real time. As looks hit the stage, YouTube Shopping lets viewers purchase on the spot. It’s about turning creator IP into product lines and checkout, the same blueprint you can use for courses, memberships, digital goods, or collabs.
Who’s on Stage
VidSummit is a real business conference for YouTubers. The halls buzz less with selfies and more with note-taking. It’s a rare gathering where the people trade what they normally don’t share online.
Industry Leaders in the Room
It’s not just creators. Agencies, investors, and platform insiders also show up. The 2025 schedule includes sessions with:
- Investor & creator Codie Sanchez. Bridging creator businesses with investment models.
- Billy Parks. Venture Partner at Slow Ventures’ Creator Fund, investing in creator-led startups.
- Derral Eves. YouTube Strategist & VidSummit Co-Founder, known for helping creators build real longevity.
- Priscilla Lau. Business Strategist, on what AI really means for creator partnerships and deals.
- Brittany Ratelle (Creator Attorney & IP Specialist), on protecting your content and brand in the AI age.
- Nick Nimmin (YouTube Educator & Growth Expert) with practical fixes that bring more reach from every upload.
They’re people who’ve built systems that work and can walk you through them.
Sessions range from the tactical (“How to Redline Contracts Like Your Lawyer”) to the technical (“The Science of Retention”) to the experimental (a live “Creators in Fashion” runway show on the final night, mixing digital IP and shoppable merch).
